The Indiana Daily Student is Indiana University’s newspaper written by students, for students, the whole story unfiltered. Knowing that readers want all the information instead of potentially misleading snippets, especially in today’s world of misinformation, getting the full story is very important.
As someone who runs a competing student news source, this sure was an interesting campaign.

Indiana University’s famous Showalter fountain wouldn’t be as nearly as picturesque without the full statue, or without students taking late night swims in it.
Any student that wants to stay informed would agree that half a story would be weird, just as half of a famous IU statue would be strange. Herman B Wells sure would have a tough time greeting students on their way to class with half a body.
